Is it a Spiritual or Capacity Issue?

A few weeks back, I was praying about an area of growth I was frustrated with. I knew God had promised abundance and prosperity for His people, and I also knew that lack—especially in this case—wasn’t honoring Him.

I found myself praying spiritual warfare prayers, specifically breaking off a spirit of "withholding". That phrase felt right in the moment and I asked the Lord to give me a key to break past some limiting beliefs I was having. I felt strongly that these limiting beliefs were affecting the harvest I was seeing in this particular area of my life.

Do you remember the game, Simon Says?  Simon Says was game all about following directions, but not just any directions. There was a specific phrase you would need to hear before you made any moves, and that phrase was, “Simon Says”.

Now, the most deceptive person in the game of Simon Says was Simon himself. Whoever played Simon had one objective: to trick people and get them out of the game.

Sound familiar? The enemy does the same thing.
